Project Description
St Andrews College features open-plan spaces with high ceilings, which resulted in excessive noise and echo issues. The client needed a solution to effectively manage acoustics while incorporating colour and design elements.
Our team provided expert consultation on colour and design, supplying and installing a combination of Standard and Bespoke Acoustic Solutions. The primary solution was Composition®, a high-quality velour-finished acoustic wall covering. Often referred to as an “Acoustic Wallpaper,” this product was applied in vertical drops directly to walls, offering seamless floor-to-ceiling coverage to combat sound reverberation.
Spotlight: Printed Acoustic Panels
Aesthetic and functional, the Printed Acoustic Panels at St Andrews College added a personal and branded touch to the space.
The community sought a unique visual element, leading to the creation of a branded printed wall at the main entryway. Our in-house design team collaborated with the client to develop a striking display featuring the college name and crest. The final product was a high-resolution graphic printed onto a rigid and flat acoustic panel, ensuring both an elegant and functional finish.
Through a strategic blend of acoustics, aesthetics, and branding, St Andrews College now enjoys a dynamic and engaging learning environment that fosters focus, creativity, and community pride.
