At Mary Mackillop Catholic College, in Wakeley, we were able to provide a solution to the client that offered design aesthetic through colour while providing functional visual and acoustic support. 

Custom sized Wrapped Pinboards in Autex Vertiface cover the walls of main hallways in the College. Wrapped Pinboards are perfect for schools, as they feature no hard/sharp edges, are lightweight and made from environmentally friendly BioBoard™.

Whilst providing a visually stimulating design touch, the boards are functional as well, having a soft velour surface, for a Velcro® receptive solution with some acoustic benefit. Installing wrapped boards onto hard surfaces such as brick or painted walls absorbs some of the noise we all know is not conducive to learning.

Think of it like the noise of 100 screaming kids reduced to less than half…amazing.

Through a colour consult and examination of the area, the client chose to create a balanced and consistent space; choosing colours that matched accents in the carpet to tie the whole space together visually.
